About this project

This programme supports rural communities by encouraging sustainable farming, improving agricultural practice and strengthening rural livelihoods. The Murree Agriculture Project focuses particularly on Potha Village and surrounding areas.

Activities include agricultural inputs, farmer awareness, plantation and the promotion of sustainable practice. The programme aims to support approximately 500 families through seeds, tools and organic inputs, with farmer training sessions to improve agricultural resilience.

A 10% increase in fruit-tree plantation is targeted, alongside eco-sustainable farming practice and a focus on improving household income and food security in Murree and the surrounding rural communities.

How it works

  • Seeds, tools and organic inputs for farming households
  • Farmer training on sustainable practice
  • Fruit-tree plantation, with a 10% increase targeted
