Poverty Alleviation Program

Poverty Alleviation

The purpose of the Financial Aid Project is to empower economically disadvantaged individuals by providing them with financial support to initiate and sustain their small businesses.

Our project is grounded in the belief that by nurturing entrepreneurship and facilitating economic independence, we can uplift communities and alleviate poverty. Through ongoing support and guidance, we strive to empower individuals to build viable businesses, generate income, and ultimately achieve financial stability for themselves and their families.

This project’s operations are in KPK Mardan.

Objectives

  • Enable participants to generate their own income and reduce their dependence on external financial aid by starting and sustaining their own small businesses.
  • Encourage the growth of local economies through the creation of new businesses, which can generate employment opportunities and foster economic development within the community.
Impact
  • Enabled 1667 individuals to run successful businesses (including 1311 men and 273 women)
  • After getting the financial aid their income increased from 20-25% in each beneficiary case.
  • Participants are able to generate consistent and sustainable income through their small businesses.
Future Goals

Expand the project to reach more communities and increase the number of beneficiaries, amplifying its impact on poverty reduction. Also Secure additional funding from various sources, including private donations, and corporate partnerships, to ensure long-term sustainability.
